Liv and I just arrived home after a long (ish) day of touristing in Central London. Let me tell you one thing: A LOT less exciting then just walking around the West End. Overwhelming, crowded, and apparently you have to pay to sit down. The most exciting thing was Platform 9 3/4. I couldn't stop laughing.
But, in the past couple days, outside of The Tourist Zone, we have discovered some glorious places to fill our stomaches.
The first place is Brook's Counter and Table in Hammersmith.
Along with delectable snackies you can see in this picture, they also serve sandwiches, breakfast items and freshly baked treats. It's cute, it's good, I'll probably be by here frequently.
And then there is this place...
Ottolenghi. The name feels incredibly weird in my mouth and I usually end up calling it the Olive Garden or oligarchy... But, man, is it heaven on earth. I can't explain it. You will have to come here and see for yourself. Or look it up and read about it.
That is all.
